If you already own one of roviva's new dream-away mattresses, the matching frame is the dream-away contour base — available in several versions to suit different needs. The RF version lets you adjust the back and foot sections manually, in several stages. A loop included with the frame turns adjusting the height into a matter of seconds — handy for reading in bed or when you have a cold. Raising your feet, in turn, is good for heavy, tired legs and eases strain on a taxed cardiovascular system. It's a small comfort worth allowing yourself at night.

What the base underneath does

Around 30% of how ergonomic and comfortable a bed feels comes not from the mattress but from the frame beneath it. These frames are also known as suspension bases or system frames; they float freely and offer an unusually long spring travel that reaches into the edge zones, giving roviva a level of adaptability it didn't have before. Spiral springs that stay resilient over time handle the pressure compensation, regulating each slat on its own. The shoulder zone stays flexible, and the middle zone's firmness adjusts too — from gentle relief to support that's noticeably firmer.

Adjustable to you

Every spring element can be individually adjusted in height, between +27mm and -18mm. That lets you add more support to the lumbar and knee area with just a few simple moves. If you'd like more give or a deeper sink at a particular spot, simply lower the relevant pair of slats.
