How the butterfly slatted base is built

Rather than a rigid surface, the frame works as a free-floating, anatomically shaped lying surface made of highly flexible, self-regulating articulated springs. Because the construction acts across the entire frame, the lying surface stays 100% flexible right out to the edge. Multi-stage height adjustment lets you fine-tune the lordosis and pelvic zones individually, and the firmness of each slat can also be changed – depending on whether you want more or less support.

Relief for the shoulder when lying on your side

Side sleepers benefit from a shoulder zone designed specifically for them: as the shoulder sinks into the mattress while falling asleep, the spring elements in that area pivot downward and open up space. This noticeably reduces uncomfortable pressure on the shoulder.
