Construction & materials

28 springy birch slats sit in a sturdy plywood frame, with PVC-free spring elements. The frame is made in Croatia — solid craftsmanship built to last. It stands 9 cm high at the sides and 12 cm in the centre, with 1 cm of flex.

Sizes & practical details

The Basic Flex is available in six sizes, from 80 x 200 cm to 140 x 200 cm. The head section is adjustable, and the whole frame is operated entirely by hand. When buying a new mattress, it's worth checking the spring slats' rebound as well — replace the frame after 10 years at the latest.
