This BICO pocket-spring mattress is deliberately two-sided: soft and yielding on one side, noticeably firmer on the other. It arrives rolled up, and because both sides are upholstered differently, you decide which firmness suits you simply by flipping it.

Five zones, one core

Inside sits a 5-zone core with built-in pocket springs that support or relieve the shoulders, hips and legs exactly where needed. An AirFlow foam finishes the core on both sides, with each side offering a different firmness. A stretch cover wraps around the whole mattress and can be machine-washed when needed — a real plus for teenagers and allergy sufferers, since dirt and allergens rinse out with little effort.

Two firmness levels, one mattress

If you can't decide between medium and firm, the BICO basics mattress model #04 means you don't have to: one side carries a softer comfort foam, the other pushes back with noticeably more support. The polyester cover unzips for washing at home, so sweat and light marks between washes are simply not an issue.

Packed for transport

Once you order, the mattress leaves our warehouse vacuum-packed in a box, small enough to carry up a narrow staircase. At home, just open the box and the protective wrap: the mattress expands to its full height within minutes and is ready to use after roughly three hours of rest. The compact rolled packaging saves space in transit and material overall — a small but concrete contribution to protecting the environment.
