BICO ClimaLuxe mattress

The BICO ClimaLuxe mattress is a hybrid mattress of high-resilience cold foam and TBS spring elements, 24 cm in total height. It is intended for back, side and stomach sleepers who want a dry, balanced bed climate. The model is made entirely in Switzerland and is rotatable and reversible.

Construction and materials

The core consists of a layer of cold foam with cube-cut technique and TBS spring elements. The springs are metal-free and work with SiS technology: they support the shoulders, hips and lordosis. The graduated spring travel first relieves pressure and then supports.

The ventilation system consists of breathable foam with ventilation channels. The ClimaFlow cover, of 100 % polyester with 50 % RPET, is quilted with Swisswool. The filling is 590 g/m² wool fleece, and the mattress is rotatable and reversible.

Who the ClimaLuxe is for

The ClimaLuxe is intended for back, side and stomach sleepers who tend to get warm and damp in bed. The ventilation system provides moisture exchange, and the spring elements support the body in every position.

It is not designed for a cosy sleeping feel; it offers a rather compact feel. Firmness is matched to body weight: soft for 40 to 70 kg, medium for 50 to 90 kg and firm for 60 to 110 kg. The maximum load is given as 110 kg.

Sizes and options

The ClimaLuxe is available in 36 combinations of width and length: widths from 80 to 200 cm and lengths from 190 to 220 cm. You choose between soft, medium and firm. Size and firmness are set in the configurator before you order. You choose the cover in addition to size and firmness level: Standard (ClimaFlow fabric) or Anti-Allergiker in double jersey. BICO offers the Anti-Allergiker cover only in selected sizes and firmness levels.

Care and warranty

The cover can be removed and washed at 60 °C. It must not go in the tumble dryer. Turn the mattress regularly so that the load is spread across both sides. The cover is treated with Sensity and Greenfirst as anti-mite protection.

Our assessment

The ClimaLuxe is the right choice if you are looking for a hybrid mattress with a cool, dry bed climate and spring support. For comparison, the BICO ClimaFine is an option. It is taller at 26 cm and has ViscoAir inserts in the shoulder zone. The choice depends on whether you prefer a ViscoAir shoulder zone.
