About the brand
Swissbed is a Swiss mattress brand of Bawi-Tex AG in Goldau. As a family business, Bawi-Tex AG has built up its knowledge over many years and developed sleep solutions for the Swiss with Swissbed. The mattresses are made in Goldau in Central Switzerland, in the canton of Schwyz, using Swiss foam; short transport routes mean lower transport costs and less CO₂. Swissbed mattresses are only available from selected specialist retailers; the dealer search on swissbed.ch also lists us, Deluxe Moebel GmbH in Bischofszell.
The Swissbed mattresses carry the names of three Swiss places. The Zermatt pocket spring mattress has 5 comfort zones; air flows through the springs, and a soft integrated topper layer brings the hotel boxspring-bed feeling home. The Lugano mattress is made of highly elastic EvoPore HRC foam that balances support and comfort; its three-dimensional ventilation system makes it climate-resistant. The Sion mattress is meant for everyone who wants to lie more firmly: its multi-zone, multi-layer construction reduces pressure points, supports the back and neck and relieves the shoulders.
Zermatt comes in the firmness levels soft, medium and firm, Lugano and Sion in medium and firm. All three mattress types are 26 cm high, so the three types can be combined with one another.
The mattresses are joined by a range for the whole bed. The Arosa toppers are 8 cm high: Super Soft is the softest, Visco combines pressure relief with support, and Latex ensures a balanced bed climate with vertical ventilation channels. The pillows made of viscoelastic foam have a washable cover: Ceneri with an ergonomically shaped contour for stomach and back sleepers, Chasseral in a classic shape and the Pilatus neck pillow with a removable foam insert for the right height, both for side and back sleepers. The Yverdon slatted frame made of beech wood is 10 cm in height and has an adjustable centre-zone reinforcement and a variable shoulder comfort zone – manually adjustable at the head and foot (KF) or with four motors and a wireless remote control with memory function (4M).
