dormaa mattresses are developed and made in collaboration between two Swiss family businesses: the Helbling workshop on Lake Zurich and the sleep experts of Bawi-Tex at the foot of the Rigi. The short transport routes are sustainable. The country of origin is Switzerland.
dormaa offers two models, both 25 cm high. The dormaa vizz is a viscoelastic mattress with a foam core: different types of foam cradle the body and support it at the same time. Viscoelastic foam, also called memory foam, adapts to the body, and the imprint remains for a moment. The dormaa hybe is a hybrid mattress: it combines a viscoelastic surface with a well-ventilated multi-barrel pocket spring core with 5 zones that adds dynamics. A pronounced shoulder comfort zone meets strong support in the middle zone.
Both models have a thermoregulating cover with ManoCool technology. The cover is removable, divisible and washable at 40 °C; the mattresses are suitable for allergy sufferers and have carrying handles. They are available in firmness grade 1 (soft) for a body weight of 50 to 80 kg and in firmness grade 2 (medium) for 70 to 100 kg.

What is the difference between the dormaa vizz and the dormaa hybe?
The vizz is a purely viscoelastic mattress: it consists of different types of foam that cradle the body and support it at the same time. The hybe combines a viscoelastic surface with a balanced pocket spring core (multi-barrel pocket spring core with 5 zones) and therefore feels more dynamic. Both have the ManoCool cover.

Which firmness suits me?
That depends above all on your body weight and your personal preference. Firmness grade 1 (soft) is designed for a body weight of 50 to 80 kg, firmness grade 2 (medium) for 70 to 100 kg. What happens if the firmness is not right?
With us, the dormaa vizz and the dormaa hybe are marked with the 100-night core exchange: within 100 nights of delivery we exchange the core for a core in the other firmness grade, and the cover stays the same. A handling fee of CHF 200 applies per core exchange; a refund or an exchange of the whole mattress is excluded. All details are on our page “100-night core exchange”.
Can I wash the cover of dormaa mattresses?
Yes. The cover is removable and divisible and can be washed at 40 °C; it must not go in the tumble dryer. It features ManoCool technology, which ensures a pleasant and healthy sleeping climate.
Who are dormaa mattresses suitable for?
The mattresses are suitable for back, side and normal sleepers as well as for people who tend to feel cold. They are suitable for allergy sufferers. The maximum load is 110 kg in firmness grade 1 and 130 kg in firmness grade 2.
What warranty applies to dormaa mattresses?
The dormaa hybe comes with a 10-year pro rata warranty. For the dormaa vizz the warranty period from the terms and conditions of Bawi-Tex AG applies: 24 months from the date of purchase. Products are replaced or repaired free of charge, provided the defect is reported within 14 working days of receiving the goods. The warranty conditions are set out in the terms and conditions of Bawi-Tex AG.
How much does delivery cost?
On orders of CHF 100 or more we deliver free of charge within Switzerland and to Liechtenstein to the kerbside; below that, standard shipping is CHF 8.90. Delivery into your home including assembly can be added as an option for a flat CHF 149 (not for orders that contain only pillows).
